December 2008 was a wonderful month for us! Here are the highlights:
- On December 17th, Abby turned 6 month old. We went to her six month checkup and here are her current stats:
* Height: 26 3/4 inches (80th percentile)
* Weight: 13 pounds 12 oz (10th percentile)
* Head Circumference: 16 1/4 inches (20th percentile)
We asked the doctor if he was worried about her being so skinny for her tall frame and he said that he thinks that she is just going to be built that way. Lucky girl... she got her daddy's genes.
- Thanksgiving weekend (I know that this is technically November) we went back to the Renaissance Festival (for the Christmas theme). It was possibly the coldest day of the entire year... but we bundled up and had a ton of fun.
- We had a chance to catch up with a ton of old friends turing December and Abby made some new friends. Stacey's daughter Raegan and Abby became fast friends as they are only one month apart in age. We can't wait to see them again!!
- Christmas week was spent with family. The first part of the Christmas break was with Kim's family. All of Abby's great grandparents were there as well as her grandparents and uncle David.
- Christmas Day we went to Jason's family's house. We had a fantastic time with Abby's grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and Jason's aunts, uncle, and grandfather.
- New Years was spent with great friends! We went to Jimmy and Rochelle's house for a party and spent the night.

Armed with our New Year's resolutions, we travel into 2009 hoping that it is a healthy and happy year for everyone.
