First, Friday morning we went to Abby's school for the Halloween parade. She dressed in her angel costume from last year and looked super cute. After the parade, we went to chapel for some songs... and then had a party with her class mates. Here are a few pictures of the event. For all of the pictures, please go to Abby's class website that I have as a link on the right. I uploaded all of the kid's pictures there.
Since I had the day off, we left the party at 10 and went to get our flu shots. Then, home to pack up the car and head to Brazos State Park to meet my parents for a camping trip.
It was Abby's first camping trip and she loved it. The things she remembers the most about the trip are the camp fire, eating marshmellows, sleeping in the pop-up with Mimi and Papa, playing with flashlights, carving a pumpkin, and seeing a live alligator up close. My parents got her a little stuffed alligator and it is the first animal she has named. She named him Aly and he is always chasing us around the house trying to bite us. Here are my favorite pics. They are all on my Shutterfly page.
On Halloween, Marisa had a Halloween party for us. And the kids all went trick-or-treating together. Abby was terrified of Halloween last year, but she did a great job walking up to each of the doors with her friends to say "Trick or Treat!"
