One Week Old

It is hard to believe that Abby is already one week old. This week has been a great adventure.

We left the hospital on Thursday but the hospital pediatrition said that Abby may have a mild case of jaundice so we made a doctor's appointment for Saturday. At that appointment we learned that she was absolutely fine. She is in the 50th percentile for height, weight, and head size. She is just perfect!!! We are going to see the doctor again on Thursday for her first checkup.

Since Saturday we are all trying to get into a routine. We had help from Kim's mom, Judy, the first night Abby was home. We learned a lot from her that would have taken quite a bit of time to learn on our own. Thanks Nonna (Abby's nickname for Judy)!!

I'd also like to thank everyone who has stopped by to visit and to bring food!! We really appreciate you all!

Welcome Home

After two nights in the hospital, Abby was able to come home with us. Jason and I are learning to become parents... and it is really fun (and tiring)! We've had lots of visitors and we thank everyone for their well wishes!

Happy Birthday Abby!

Our beautiful daughter, Abigail Grace, was born on June 17, 2008 at 6:33 pm. She was 7 lbs and 11 onces and was 19.5 inches long.

Full Term

This picture was taken on Friday when I officially became "Full Term" - 37 weeks pregnant. The doctor says that Abby is really happy in my tummy right now so we probably won't meet her for a few more weeks.

First Post

Hi there! This is our first post on our new blog. We've created a Shutterfly account so that you can see any of our picture albums at any time by just clicking on the link to the right.

Kim is 35 weeks pregnant today and she is feeling great! We are getting really excited about meeting our daughter, Abigail Grace, for the first time. We really appreciate how supportive our friends and family have been through the pregnancy.

Above is a picture of Kim at 34 weeks pregnant. It was taken at a baby shower that was thrown for her by Angela, Rochelle, Stacey, and Marisa. The shower was at The Black Labrador and turned out to be a blast. We are very lucky to have such great friends!! Hannah, our dog, is also getting ready for the big day when we will add a new member to the family. We took a picture of her in the baby's room getting ready. The hardest thing she is learning right now is which toys are hers and which are for Abby. :)
